Behind the Build – Coach 10204:
Precision, Passion and a Touch of Blue

Introduction

When Mr. and Mrs. O’Steen first walked through our shop, they already had a clear vision for their coach: it needed to turn heads—without shouting for attention. Refined, but still uniquely theirs.

As someone who helps design, sell, and deliver these luxury motorcoaches, I knew this would be a special collaboration. Finding that balance between sophistication and statement is exactly the kind of design challenge I love most.

We started by exploring paint concepts, and it was immediately clear they were drawn to linear designs—the kind that feel like they’re in motion even when standing still.

“Bold patterns and busy paint designs are perfect for some people, but not for us.”

They wanted timeless, not trendy.

Their aesthetic made perfect sense once I learned about their classic car collection—a 10,000-square-foot car barn filled with over 22 collector cars and home to their annual D&S Classic Car Show, which supports local charities. This coach had to carry that same sense of polish and pride, looking just as at home next to a vintage Corvette as it would gliding down the interstate.

Coach 10204 was built with that spirit in mind.

The Paint Design: Understated Confidence

The paint process always evolves, and this coach was no exception. Initially, they didn’t want too much color. But after reviewing an early rendering, Mr. O’Steen said:

“You know…I don’t think there is enough blue on it. I thought I wanted just a touch of blue—turns out, I might want a little more than that.”

We all laughed—Mrs. O’Steen and I had a feeling he’d come back around to a touch of blue, and we were right.

We ultimately landed on a design that plays with contrast and direction. The front end is bold and symmetrical, creating a strong impression from the moment you see it—it gives you a sense that you’ve been pointed in the right direction.

Narrow, flowing lines sweep down both sides and pull your eye to the rear, while the back is anchored by larger, soft lines that feel almost cinematic as they pass you on the road.

The soft white base keeps things light, crisp, and clean. A tropical blue accent stripe adds a pop of color that’s both refreshing and calm. Silver and black give it depth and structure.

The final result is a confident, clean look that feels tailored and tied together—a perfect example of “less is more.”

Interior Mood: Fresh, Serene and Purposeful

Inside, the same balance of energy and serenity continues.

Denise, our Interior Designer, described it best—fresh, clean, relaxing and overall serene.

High-gloss Continental Walnut paired with Alabaster TruGloss cabinetry brings warmth and sophistication, while white-washed wood floors with radiant heat invite comfort underfoot.

Crystal-inspired sconces add shimmer through fluted glass cylinders, and nickel hardware provides subtle shine throughout.

“The backlit lighting throughout the coach is one of my favorite elements. From the galley backsplash to the entry steps and under-lit lavatory sinks, it adds a warm, inviting glow that makes the space feel alive.”

The layout includes:

  • 50” pop-up TV behind the jackknife sofa
  • Custom electric theater seating
  • J-lounge for dining
  • King-sized adjustable electric bed with massage functions
  • Hidden 55” drop-down screen above the helm

As part of Millennium’s 25th Anniversary Edition, this quad-slide, bath-and-a-half coach embodies everything we’ve refined and perfected over the decades.

Crafted from the Ground Up

The O’Steens were new to Millennium but not to Prevost, and they took a truly hands-on approach—visiting often and following every stage of their coach’s build.

“Both of them had an amazing eye and attention to detail.”

That collaboration is what defines Millennium. We don’t just finish coaches—we build them from the ground up. Each phase, from rough-in to final fit and finish, is layered with purpose and precision.

Their influence extended to every area of the build—even the bays below deck, which included:

  • Electric slide tray with drawer below
  • Custom pull-out cabinet
  • Built-in grill
  • Pressure washer
  • Mobile Starlink system

Every request was handled with care, even the highly personal ones. To ensure the perfect closet height, Mrs. O’Steen lent us one of her dresses as a reference.

“This coach was smooth. Thoughtful tweaks from the O’Steens made it unique.”

The Delivery: Something to Be Proud Of

From day one, the O’Steens were engaged, thoughtful and genuinely passionate about the process.

When delivery day arrived, their reactions said it all:

“We were just blown away.”
“I got chill bumps.”

Later that week, their message to the team made our day:

“Our coach is amazing!! Everyone is in awe over it!!! We are beyond pleased!!”

For all of us at Millennium, that’s what it’s about—building something that reflects who our clients are and how they live.

As a fun bonus, the O’Steens even made the local news during a feature on Millennium.

“This is homegrown. These are Floridians building a product that’s known throughout the world for quality and excellence.”

A Story Still Unfolding

Coach 10204 is a reflection of what makes Millennium unique—an ultra-custom build born from collaboration, craftsmanship and a shared pursuit of excellence.

For the O’Steens, this delivery isn’t the end—it’s the beginning of a new chapter on the open road.

From weekends away to miles of new memories, we’re honored to be beside them at every turn.

This is just one story. Each Behind the Build feature will highlight another coach, another vision and another example of what it means to travel the Millennium way.

Power, beauty, function, precision and a drive to be of service to all—that’s the Millennium way.
